A small update and a commentary post: Final Fantasy XIII part 4

Today is not really a good day. My boyfriend made himself ill last night and he's sleeping it off today. I hope he can sleep through the night too or his shift at work on Monday morning is going to be hell. I'm not letting him skip it either. He's already got a cold but he did not have to drink so much...

He also apparently did and said some really stupid things to his oldest friend. >.< I'll make sure they make up later - properly and sincerely, because my boyfriend saying stupid things while drunk is no reason to break up a 20+ year friendship.

And now all I want to do is play Final Fantasy 13 some more but I can't because it might wake my boyfriend. I have commentaries though. Lots of goddamn commentaries. Since I have nothing much else to do (something like...two tags or something. >.>), here you go.

When I last left off, I was in the middle of Lake Bresha still. This goes on until I reach the Whitewoods.

You forced me back into FFXIII now :(. Mind I'm still on the tutorial! (20 hours in and 5 chapters ahead of you :P. Yes it is THAT long). Still the linearity is nice!
I feel like I'm playing an interactive movie :).

Just wait till you get to Nautilus Park. Socoooot. Even Stacey liked some of the prettiest things there and usually doesn't like FF stuff. Apart from moogles

fffff That's... a really long tutorial...

I do love it though. It's beautiful~ And I'm almost up to Nautilus now, I think. Possibly. Uh. They were going there and then it cut back to Lightning and Hope. ^^;

Also. Never apologise for ranting. I do it plenty ...or I ramble. I ramble a lot more than I rant I think. See, I'm doing it now!

Just finished the tutorial before switching off yesterday and I'm rocking a 21h save file for the start of chapter 11. Scary indeeds.

I know the whole of chapter 11 is open free worldness, as is a lot of the rest of the game so it does feel like everything previous was just a biiiig tutorial for it, which shows why a lot of people gave up :(

It gets a bit brain hurty in a little while but you gotta stick with it I guess. It pays off. Just did a boss fight that took me an hour because I hadn't remembered how to utilise Sentinels properly :(

That is very useful... ^^; I'm still getting the hang of things though.

Iain doesn't like me playing it when he's around. He hates all Final Fantasy. Plus he has an annoying habit of asking me to go do things in the middle of cut scenes. All the time. He either talks all the way through so I have no clue what's going on or sends me to make tea or demands hugs and attention durng boss battles. fffff So frustrating!

Lately, all I seem to play is BBS on PSP or... Dragon Quest 9 on DS. I need to finish getting all the secret reports on TWEWY though... hm... Now I want to play games...

fff Wish I had a job. >.> Which reminds me that the jobcentre gave me another bunch of probably-useless things to apply for that I have not done yet. Augh.

I'm on FFXIII, FFIII and Kingdom Hearts 356/2 Days. That and random 360 games of course. I don't go out that much so I got Sky HD to keep me happy :).

fff My list of games that I'm currently in the middle of is... rather long. But since I'm at Iain's, I don't have access to all the PS2 games I'm playing. That limits me to PS3 games, PSP, DS and... when I can get ito the corner again, 360 games. ^^;

I'm doing pretty well. I think. Apart from this cold, anyway. And not having a job. Still keeping myself busy though - NaNoWriMo next month and I gotta prepare!
